1. If it were up to you to make the decision, would you let the sweatshop workers become legal U.S. citizens? Why or why not? yes i would because i dont think that its fair that they get treated different and they have different jobs from every one else. i also think its not fair that they get paid way less than how other people get paid. they work very hard just like every one else but they dont get paid the same amount.

2. Describe a moment in from parts 1, 2, or 3 of this movie that you found particularly memorable? Why......one thing thay i will always rememeber is the fact that one of the ladys left their children back in their home town. she had to leave them their being rased by her mom and dad. she hasnt went back for 18 years i think . another thing is that one of the ladys have kids. but sometimes she doesnt have a enough money to provide food for them. i dont understand how they provide foodand pay the rent if they only get about 3.00 an hour.

3.By the end of part 3, the protestors seem to be giving up hope. If you were able to speak to the group, what would you say to them to inspire them to keep going? i would tell taht its worth it to keep going because they have to think about their children and most of their familys. they have to be strong and brave so that people could lisen to them . also to keep fighting for their rights

Who does Forever 21 blame for the sweatshops? Why
they blame them because they dont want people to stop buying from their stores. also because they could get sued or lose money. but really forever 21 is the ones to blame.

2. What’s wrong with Forever 21′s argument
the fact that their blaming the contractors and stuff is wrong because really its their fault . they just dont want to edmit it because they know hot much money they would loose . also because they know that it would make a bad impression . then know one would want to shop thier .

3. Why do the workers continue to protest even if it means they might lose their jobs?
because they want to fight for their rights. evan if that means loosing their jobs their still going to keep on . i feel that its worth it to protest against them.

1. How is the life of sweatshop workers in L.A. the same as those in Indonesia? How is it different?
there the same because they both work a lot of hours but the get paid a very small amount of money. the workers in l.a get paid about 3.00 for working 8 hours. in indonesia they get paid 1.25 for working 12 hours a day.

2. Why is it that poor immigrants (newcomers) end up working at sweatshops? Why don’t they work as lawyers or doctors or at Mcdonalds ?

i think they could never get hired for working at some other place because maybe other people think they are immigrants . also some people just don't want them working there because of their race.

3. Predict what’s going to happen by the end of this movie ?
what i think is going to happen is that maybe every one is going to end up fired because they keep on complaining and their bosses don't like that . there bosses always tell them that if they don't like what their doing than they should just leave

If i had the chance to change my and other peoples life styles i would. but i feel like everytime i try to do something i would always get hurrased ... Some times people evan get kiiled and locked up for trying to stop this. no matter how hard u try you ca never try to stop this disgrace. i really dont like the face that mi and my family have to live in one small little place. i have to share a real smalll room with me my sisters and brothers. we all sleep on a small matris . the matris is a really small and thin. it really doesnt make a difrence if i sleep on the floor or not. each and every one of us have to eat a very small supply of food. since we each get 1.25 a day we all save up our money so tha we cold have enough to eat. i also cant stand the rats and the rouches that crawl around at night. i get really scared at night because i dont want any of them to crawl on me .

1. How much do Nike workers make in Indonesia each day? How many hours a day do they work?
the workers get paid about $ 1.25 in a day . they work for about 12 to 13 hours.

2. What is life like for Indonesian Nike workers at home?
there are really small rooms. about 4 woman share one room ...basicly they live in a small little box and in that one little room they share and have all their belongings. they sleep on little flat matrices o the floor. they wash there cloths by hand on the floor. there is also a well in the floor were they get water from alothough the water is not as clean as out water.

3. Why won’t Nike talk to Jim or Leslie or let them visit the shoe factory? because all the workers were told not to tlk to them and if they do they will have to suffor the consiquenses. ether they will be hurrased or evan killed.

1. What does it mean to “make a decent living”? What should you be able to afford to buy? i think it means that u should be able to have cloths, shoes, food, shelter, family, and friends. we should b able to afford food, and cloths and shoes and to buy a house that u could live in and then pay rent.

2.Where do your sneakers come from? Who makes them?
some sneackers come from china. they are made in china. some are also mad in mexico. maybe evan factories .some are hand mad too.

3.What is a sweatshop (take a guess, even if you have no idea)?
i think a sweat shop is a place were they make people work. almost like slavery.maybe people are kept there to work but there are barley paid .
